Our LAFD Fire Station 4 represents one of the oldest fire stations in the city. Established in 1884, The station originally served the downtown area, which was rapidly growing during that period. In the early 1900s, Fire Station 4 was relocated to a new building on the corner of 4th and Main Streets to accommodate increasing fire service demands. It has since undergone several upgrades and remodels, including modernizing facilities and equipment to keep up with the city's expansion.
